Description:

This course will better inform the designer about the fire resistance of stile and rail door  assemblies.  The designer will gain an understanding of building codes, testing, and how the assemblies hold up to international standards.

 

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this program the Design Professional should be able to:

  • Describe basic wood stile and rail door construction and terminology

  • Explain how fire core technologies work within wood stile and rail door construction

  • Recognize the benefits of new fire core technologies

  • Identify relevant Fire and Life Safety Codes

 

Method of Delivery:

The course is offered to design professionals in a lunch and learn setting.
The course is presented in PowerPoint.
